Addressing themselves to a possible long range solution, the Committee suggested that the Planning Commission “consider the cost effectiveness of a county office building in developing a Comprehensive Plan for 1980.”
Baumgardner reported that Judge Raynor V. Snead had found the solutions outlined in the letter acceptable except in regard to Clerk of Court Ned Jones’s office. According to Baumgardner Snead insisted that there is a serious lack of space for Jones’s records that could only be solved by enlarging the existing office.
