Recent activities of the James Fox family include sightseeing trips to Washington, D.C., Luray Caverns and Monticello by Mrs. Fox, “J” and Renee’, and Miss Dawna David. Miss Melanie Helsley of Front Royal was dinner guest in the Fox home and accompanied the above group to Washington. Alan Fox went to Monticello with them. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Fox and children, Miss David, Alan Fox and Larry Stevens of Front Royal picnicked at Elizabeth Furnace. Miss David will leave soon for her home in Alamosa, Colo.
Mrs. Robert Engle and children of Charles Town, W. Va. were Saturday visitors of her father, Elias Wines, and the William Ubbens. Matthew Engle visited his cousins, Mike and Tony Williams.
Mrs. Marvin E. Nielsen and Suzy of Jonestown, Pa. arrived at Cedarloft Wednesday to assist in the care of the former’s ill grandmother, Mrs. Myrtle Chastain. Mrs. A.E. Parks and Mrs. S.M. Shelton are taking turns attending the Maryland-Virginia Free Methodist Conference and Campmeeting at Spencerville, Md.
