SOYBEANS in the Southeast closed higher, while corn moved moderately higher during the week ending July 9, according to USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service.

Soybeans advanced 39 to 56 cents , mostly 41 to 45 cents higher. The cash spread was $6.79 to $7.40. Corn ranged steady to 14 cents higher, mostly 5 to 9 cents higher. The cash spread was $2.83 to $3.27.

Feeder cattle prices continued to decline this week. Prices ranged steady to $1 lower with some exceptions. Prices on barrows and gilts closed the week 25 to 50 cents lower.

GRAIN—Corn prices closed the week ending July 9 moderately higher, and soybeans moved sharply higher. Corn ranged steady to 14 cents higher, mostly 5 to 9 cents higher.
