the 30 jurors called followed and Judge Snead denied the motion. At this time Turner changed his plea to guilty and wished his case to be heard by the judge.
At this time the jurors were dismissed and the hearing followed with Sheriff W.A. Buntin testifying, as well as Mr. and Mrs. E.G. Hackley. Russell" Leonard Jordan of Amissville who was with Turner and also charged gave testimony, too. Jordan had been an accomplice in the crimes and was sentenced to five years, suspended, in court last week, with probation for the same length of time.D
