daughters of Roanoke spent the weekend with Mr. Atkins’ parents, the Bennie Atkins.
Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Hamblin and Karen of Hillcrest Heights, Md. visited his mother, Mrs. Flora Rhudy and a brother, Charles Hamblin of Atlanta, Ga., who spent a week with their mother before leaving Monday for home.
In last week’s writeup on the First Blue Ridge Mountain, meeting in the Chester Gap Fire Hall, the two items omitted were: a contribution of $25 each was authorized to the Front Royal and the Chester Gap Fire Departments, and no action was taken on incorporating the group.
