Flying Circus’s Master of Ceremonies, Ron David, who lives in Flint Hill, writes in the Flying Circus’s air show program that their air show is “One giant leap—backward.” He points out that “Flying Circus” was a name often used by the early-day barnstormers, which was copied from the name given Baron von Richthofen’s nortorious Imperial German fighter squadron in World War I.

Ron further states; “There are only two flying shows in this country that strive to be truly different. One is an aerial exhibition of very early aircraft upinRhinebeck, N.Y. The other is the show you see at Bealeton.”
