Jerry Wayne Williams of Warrenton sustained injuries in a single car crash August 15 in Rappahannock and Bobby Graves, also of Warrenton, a passenger in the car with Williams, was injured, too.

Williams operating a 1970 Plymouth, lost control of the car, on a secondary road, ran off the left of it and struck a tree, according to Sheriff W.A. Bun tin, who investigated. Williams received lacerations of the mouth and dislocated teeth. He was treated at Warren Memorial Hospital. Graves had abrasions and lacerations of the forehead and scalp. Williams was cited for failing to maintain control of his vehicle.
