RIDING the school bus is a privilege and may be revoked for just cause by the principal of the school the child attends. Actions on the bus which take the driver’s attention from the roadway while bus is moving are a threat to the safety of all who ride the bus.

State Law requires the traveling public to stop for school buses loading or unloading passengers on the highway. Children should be on time at their bus stops in order that the traveling public may not be delayed. The public is requested to be extra cautious while driving before and after school when school buses are on their way to and from school and children are waiting for buses.
