Alloway, N. J. They were luncheon guests Tuesday of Mrs. Mary Quaintance. Dr. and Mrs. Quaintance attended a dinner party Saturday for Mr. and Mrs. John Merchant at The Plains.

Mrs. Anna Lee Sutherland of St. Louis, Mo., who has been a houseguest of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr., left Monday for Atlanta, Ga.

T. J. Pillar returned home Tuesday from a fishing trip to Cape Hatteras, N. C.

Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Lindsey and children, Carolyn and Mark of Middletown and their houseguest, Miss Betty Groby of St. Petersburg, Fla. were Friday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Kent Pierce. The Lindseys left this week to spend the winter in Florida. Mr. andd Mrs. Paul Taylor of Arlington were Sunday dinner guests.

Guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood for luncheon and the house tour Saturday were • Mr. and Mrs. Augustus S. Black of Norfolk.

Mrs. Frank Edmonds and J Mrs. C. E. Burke of Front ^ Royal were Wednesday guests of their sister, Mrs. George W. Hawkins. Luncheon guests Monday of Mrs. Mary Quaintance at the Randolph House in Culpeper were Mrs. George Taylor of Culpeper and her houseguest, Mrs. Ellen Kibler of Main, Mrs. H. B. Wood of Woodville, Mrs. R. E. Wood and Mrs. T. M. Johnston.
