Collision
A collision involving two vehicles was reported by Trooper R. A. Baines as occuring on October 15 on Route 522 at Foster’s apple house. Otto Ruhling of Takoma Park, Md. was cited for failing to signal before turning by the officer.
Ruhling was driving a 71 Chevrolet and attempted to make a right turn when he was struck by a 74 Ford driven by Stanley Alther of Washington, Va.
Yard and Bake Sale
There will be a Homemakers Club Yard and Bake Sale at the Flint Hill Fire Hall on November 5 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. The profit from this sale will be given to the 4-H Club Center in Warren County. There will be a Christmas table, craft items, clothing, baked goods, and other items both new and used.
