Jenkins
James Henry Jenkins, 82, of Castleton died in Manassas October 14, 1977. He was a native of Sperryville and a retired fanner, the son of the late McLean and Eliza Butler Jenkins. He was a member of Nethers Penecostal Church, where a funeral service was held Tuesday. The Rev. Charles Clinedienst and the Rev. Collls Lewis conducted the service.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Emma Jenkins; five sons, J. William Jenkins of Copperas Cove, Texas, G. Robert Jenkins of Culpeper, H. Wilson Jenkins and Melvin C. Jenkins, both of Castleton and John D. Jenkins of Warrenton; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Gant of Berryville, Mrs. Gladys Bawkey of Manassas, Mrs. Ruby Bawkey of Culpeper and Mrs. Catherine Fincham of Castleton; 21 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Aubrey Jenkins of Summit Point, W. Va. and three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Butler and Mrs. Susie Jenkins, both of Berryville and Mrs. Lucy Jenkins of Fredericksburg.
