Amissville Fire Department responded to a house fire October 8 at the Bucky Manuel home on Route 611.

Bake Sale

The Washington Ladies’ Auxiliary to the Fire and Rescue Squads reports a successful weekend from their cider and bake sale, according to Mrs. Ruth Clark, president. The sale yielded over $250.00. Mrs. Clark would like to thank all those who donated items and, also, all those who bought items and in any way helped to make the bake sale a success.
