Virginia has been granted $4,706,850 for fiscal year 1978.

The Virginia WIC Committee is a coalition of statewide public and private food-concerned groups who worked to bring WIC to Virginia (the 49th state to do so) and now recognizes a responsibility to make the public aware of the benefits of this food program to our most precious natural resource, our children.
