Crumb Topping
V* cup brown sugar
2 T flour
V* cup butter or (oleo)
V* cup oatnieal
% teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon baking powder mixed together with pastry blender
Line a 9” pie pan with pastry. Sprinkle flour over pastry. Put in apples and seasonings. Cover with foil and bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 min. Remove pie, sprinkle with crumb mixture and bake about 20 minutes in 350 degree oven. Serve either warm or cold.

Nighttime Christmas Workshop—November 3rd, 7:30 p.m. - Washington Baptist Church. Crafts, evergreen wreaths, comhusk wreaths, how to tie bows, recipes will be shared. Please come and bring your favorite decoration or recipe. There will be a $1.00 fee. Also bring paper and pencil for jotting down ideas.
