Mr. and Mrs. Humberto A. Valines of Front Royal, announce the engagement of their daughter, Leticia Maria, to Craig Moffett Hartz, son of Mr. and Mrs. John D. Hartz of Crest Hill Farm, Hume.
Miss Valines is a 1976 graduate of Warren County High School and is presently attending Lord Fairfax Community College.
Mr. Hartz was graduated from Madison College in 1976 with a degree in Business Administration.
Rock-a-Thon

The March of Dimes Rock-a-Thon, sponsored by the members of the FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) Chapter at Piedmont Technical Education Center, will be on November 18-19, beginning at 5 p.m. Friday until 5 p.m. Saturday.
The location is at the American Legion Hall in Culpeper. Directions for getting there, are as follows: The American Legion Hall is approximately 2 miles past the Culpeper County High School. The American Legion Hall is on the left hand side on Route 229.
Participants will rock in a rocking chair for a period of fifty minutes and then get a ten-minute break. Rockers are reminded to bring their own rockers. The public is invited to rock. Refreshments will be served.
Rockers will seek sponsors to pledge an amount for each hour they rock. For example, if someone pledges 10 cents for each hour rocked, and the rocker rocks for 10 hours, the total donation will be SI.
Participants interested in obtaining the pledge cards, may pick them up from any Piedmont FBLA member.
