Frazier
Mrs. Iva Virginia Frazier, 71, of Remington, died Tuesday, December 18, 1979 at the Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
Funeral services were conducted Friday at Geest Funeral Home Chapel in Culpeper, with burial in Remington Cemetery.
A native of Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Mary Sowers Frazier and the widow of Lyle Edward Frazier. She was a member of the Union Primitive Baptist Church at Sumerduck.
Survivors include five sons. Albert M. Frazier. Thomas E. Frazier, David A. Frazier and Roger L. Frazier, all of Remington, and Morris D. Frazier of Nokesville; 14 grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren; and two sisters. Mrs. Pauline Steadman and Mrs. Julia Maddox, both of Warrenton.

Three students from Rappahannock County have been recognized for academic achievement at Lord Fairfax Community College for the fall quarter.
Named to the Dean’s List were Julia Gordon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Gordon of Sperryville, Thomas Lee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Lee of Washington and Richard Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde P. Johnson of Woodville.
The Dean’s List is composed of students who complete at least a 12 quarter-hour credit load and achieve at least a 3.2 honor point average.
