Funeral services were held Saturday for George William Elkins, 80. of Front Royal at the Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Alden Yates. Burial was in Willis Chapel Cemetery, Huntly.
Mr. Elkins died Tuesday. December 18* 1979 in Veterans Administration Medical Center, Martinsburg. W. Va.
Mr. Elkins was born May 4. 1899 in Rappahannock County, son of the late Henry H. and Sarah Vincent Elkins. He was a retired carpenter and served in the U.S. Army in World War l.,He was a> member of the First Assembly of God Church.
