Paul's brother and hcphews helped with the remodeling while his mother in Fairfax made aprons with "Black Kettle" stitching for the waitresses and cooks. Fven the St. ('lair's nine-year old son Adam, who thinks mom and dad's restaurant is “just the greatest thing." got into the act. Grandmother sewed a little apron for him with his name across the top and he appointed himself official host, all decked out in a black shirt and trousers to greet customers.
Country Restaurant
The Black Kettle has a rustic, country interior with paneling of rough-sawed, random width oak. The atmosphere is heightened by the artistic display of antique hand tools hung from the walls.
