Rappahannock’s game warden noted that the state’s 1981-82 hunting season has been marred by accidents in Frederick and Page counties and reminded hunters and hikers walking in the woods to wear blaze orange protective clothing.
He also stressed that Virginia law requires hunters to attach game tags to animals before moving the carcass from the place of kill. This and other hunting regulations are detailed in the 1981 Virginia Game Digest.
