The Rappahannock County High School Varsity and Junior Varsity Basketball Teams will have their first home game Friday night against the Clarke County Eagles.

It is mandatory that all Rappahannock spectators abide by Skyline District Regulations which are posted both in the main hallway of the high school as well as in the gymnasium.

Spectators are asked to pay attention to signs which have been posted to re-emphasize both Skyline District and school regulations.

The Virginia High School League has set a code for interscholastic athletics in which they feel the spectator should: (1) Realize that he-she represents the school as definitely as does the member of a team and has an obligation to good sportsmanship.

(2) Recognize that good sportsmanship is more important than victory by approving and applauding good team play exhibited by either team. (3) Treat visting teams and officials as guests, extending to them every courtesy. (4) Respect the judgment of integrity of officials, realizing that their decisions are based upon game conditions as they observe them. It is strongly felt that booing has no place in the R.C.H.S. gymnasium and standing at attention during our National Anthem is a must.
