Greens Sale
Members of the Rappahannock County Garden Club are setting up shop and gathering greens in preparation for their annual Christmas greens sale.
The wreaths, garlands and swags will be sold by special order only this year. To place an order call 987-8154 or 675-3744 by December 5.
All orders are to be picked up at the Clopton House in Washington on Saturday, December 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mrs.. N.K.G, Tholand is chairman of this Christmas activity and Mrs. Frank Gannon is cochairman.
The money raised through the greens sale is used to send young Rappahannock residents to the summer Nature Camp, sponsored by Garden Clubs of Virginia, and to finance beautification projects for the county. I
