The ballots have been mailed to all known eligible A SC voters in Rappahannock County. This agricultural election is held every year to elect committeemen for each of three agricultural communities in Rappahannock County. These committeemen attend the County Convention as delegates to elect the County Committee.

Even if the veto is overridden, legislators said, the court might still reject the latest plan, because of its decrease in single-member districts, and because its total population deviation of 12.91 percent—excluding so-called “fallback amendments”—is above the 10 percent total deviation allowed from the ideal population.
The House approved the plan, which had been recommended by its Privileges and Elections Committee, by a 61-33 vote, after rejecting a singlemember district plan last Monday. The Senate then gave its approval, 19-15.
