Benefit raffle
Win a dinner for two at The Inn at Little Washington or a handmade knotty pine mirror courtesy of Country Cupboards. Raffle tickets are now available at the Flint Hill Store, Settle’s Garage, Baldwin’s, Mountainside Market, Sperryville Comer Store and the Child Care and Learning Center. Drawings will be held on Dec. 1 at CCLC’s Christmas bazaar. All proceeds will benefit CCLC’s schol-' arship fund.
Help for abusers, victims
Services for Abused Families Inc. of Culpeper sponsors weekly support groups for abusers and the victims of domestic violence. A group for women with relationship problems meets each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., and a similar group for men with problems including anger and violence meets each Monday at 6:30 p.m. The location of these meetings is confidential. For more information, call SAFE (825-8876 or 349-0309). Individual counseling is also available; there is no charge for these services.
EMT and refresher class

AA meetings at Trinity
An Alcoholics Anonymous meeting is held every Thursday at 8:30 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington.
Middle Street art classes
Tanya Richey offers a Watercolor Power class each Thursday from 1-3 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Windflower Gallery. The class will explore new techniques in watercolor painting. The fee is $45 for members, $55 for non-members for five classes. For information, call 6751113.
Overeaters Anonymous meeting
An Overeaters Anonymous meeting is held every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church. There are no dues or fees.
Aerobic classes

Lions hosting pecan sales

Holiday concert at RCES
The Rappahannock County Elementary School wiUhold its annual band and choral concert on Thursday, Dec. 13 following the spaghetti dinner. All residents are invited to attend this free holiday event.
Seventh grade fundraisers
The RCES seventh grade class will sponsor a spaghetti dinner at the school on Thursday, Dec. 13 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $6 all-you-can-eat, $5 single serving, and $3 for children under 10. A raffle drawing will be held following dinner; first prize is dinner for two at The Inn at Little Washington. On Saturday, Jan. 19, the seventh grade class will sponsor a concert at the high school by the renowned musical group, Trapezoid. Tickets for this one performance are now on sale at Mountainside Market in Washington, Washington Video, Burke’s Grocery in Woodville, Culpeper Music and and New Leaf Bookstore in Warrenton.
