i\app<uuuuiuvn vuumjf uv<uu ui Zoning Appeals member Louis “Butch” Zindel III was among the graduating class of the Fifth Virginia Certified Boards of Zoning Appeals (BZA) Program on Sept. 14. The certification program is a training effort designed to provide new and veteran BZA members with a comprehensive introduction to zoning and the critical responsibilities borne by the BZA. The training program is sponsored by the Virginia Cooperative j&xiension service s community nesource Development Program, the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development, and-the Virginia Citizens Planning Association.

“It takes a special person, one who is committed to public service, to go through a 10-week program that involves a great deal of evening and weekend study,” Mr. Chandler said. “Rappahannock County is fortunate to have such a dedicated public official in Mr. Zindel.”
