In keeping with the style of the restored 18th century tavern, the wine list at Mrs. Coxe’s offers only Virginia made wines, but they will offer a port and madeira, both of which cannot be obtained from Virginia wineries. When Mrs. Eldred told wine distributors that she wanted only Virginia wines, they balked at the idea. She decided to visit Virginia wineries herself, and visited 20 to 25
