Some folks said it would never happen. Others said it was inevitable. For us, it happened sooner than We had expected.
With mixed emotions, we have decided to sell our Rappahannock home and move lock, stock, and barrel to South Carolina (Hilton Head Island). ' -
How could we leave a house we had designed ourselves, and participated in its construction?
How could we .leave a home where we had sowed the seed for every blade of grass in the lawn, planted every flower and bush on the grounds, and personally placed every rock in the extensive rock retaining wall?
We had Watched the sun rise and the sun set, the spring buds and the fall colors. We had cherished the dozens of species of birds that came to our feeders, and stood silently as deer brought their fawns each spring to
