The marriage of Linda Sue Jones, of Middlebrook daughter of Rev. and Mrs. LaPrade Starke Jones of Woodville to Dallas Monroe Hemp, of Middlebrook was held at Woodville Baptist Church at 11 a.m. on July 20.
Rev. L. Starke Jones, the bride’s father, and Rev. Max Bolin, pastor of Old Providence Presbyterian Church, Spotswood performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a traditional white satin gown with sweetheart neckline featuring cutwork and stain scroll appliques.
The three-tiered fingertip veil of white illusion fell from a bandeaux of orange blossoms and stand up illusion. She wore a diamond and pearl lavaliere that her grandfather gave to her grandmother on their wedding day 80 years ago, and also cultured pearl earrings, gift of the groom.
The bride carried a handheld bouquet of peach roses, white daisies, caspia and baby’s breath tied with peach ribbon.
