Ninety-one relatives and friends gathered on Saturday, July 20 for the sixth annual Dwyer reunion.
Some new faces were among the crowd, while some of our old standbys were absent. We had with us, Mr. Jack Dwyer of Flint Hill, who gave us sotpe interesting facts on his family. Together, Mr. Dwyet and our family are trying to make connections. Knowing our ancestry came from mother Ireland and more particularly County Tipperary and/or County Cork.
Our oldest family member present, Nina Dwyer Grimes; our youngest, Dylan Dwyer; Head of family with most generations present, Lorene C. Dwye , and person coming longest distance, Vergie “Toad” Kendall Sisk of Hopewell, Virginia.
Our raffle winner were Linda Shoemaker of Winchester, Loraine Dwyer of Culpeper and Mary Bolen Burner of Luray.
