Rappahannock News Staff Writer
The Washington Town Planning Commission met Monday night to review Milton Herd’s draft summary of the town’s vision statement and input from the public meetings and visioning workshops conducted over the past year.
After a brief discussion, the group concluded unanimously that they have sufficient information from Herd for them to proceed with the five-year mandatory review of the town’s Comprehensive Plan.
Commission member Carolyn Thornton stated that, in her opinion, “all the (recommendations) stem around whether we have a good sewage system to accommodate the town’s needs.”
