Saturday, Sept. 12: Second Saturday Hike Series with P.E.C. Board Member and Ragged Mountain Resource Center Director Hunt Harris. Robinson River headwaters in Shenandoah National Park, Cedar Run/White Oak Canyon loop.
Healing Arts activities
The Rappahannock Healing Arts has the following activities scheduled: Sept. 3: Yoga at 9:30 a.m.; Therapeutic Massage from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Sept. 4: Voice Analysis from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Health Options Counseling from 1 to 5 p.m. and Nutritional Counseling from 4 to 8 p.m.; Sept. 5: Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork/ Alexander Technique Lessons, walk-ins possible with Karen Loving.; Sept. 7: Nutritional Counseling from 1 to 4 p.m. and Yoga at 5 p.m.; Sept. 8: Voice Analysis from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Solution Focused Counseling from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.; Sept. 3: Herb Clinic from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Solution Focused Counseling from 5 to 9 p.m.
A herbal medicine series will begin Sept. 29 and continue until Dec. 1. It is recommended that the series be attended as a whole, course fee is $200. Classes will be held Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. under the direction of Kathleen Maier.
