Beahm family reunion set
The 15th annual reunion for the late George W. and Nancy Bolen Beahm will be held on Sept. 6 at the Rappahannock Park near Washington beginning at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. “Please bring a favorite dish and drink to share and enjoy the day,” said a spokesperson. Utensils will be provided.
Tutoring to resume
LVA volunteers have resumed tutoring in Basic Language skills and for GED preparation. Any adult wanting individual tutoring should come to the Literacy Room located on the lower level of Rappahannock County Library. Tutoring hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. on Mondays. The Old Hollow reunion will be held Sunday, Sept. 13 at Thornton Gap Regular Baptist Church near Sperryville. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. “Bring a covered dish and join us,” said an organizer.
