Donn Jones recently enjoyed a short visit from his sister, Mildred Zenger, of Juneau, Ala. During her stay, Donn and Valerie took her to Harpers Ferry where she had visited as a child. They ate a nice dinner at the Stadt Kaffee in Front Royal on their way home. Also during the week she visited with her niece, Courtney Poland and her children Crockett and Forrest in Midland.
Lots of excitement and family fun was enjoyed at The Lazy S Ranch in early August as members of the Sher clan gathered for son Chip’s wedding. The Sher’s had daughters Donna and Cindy and their families, including grandsons Joshua and Caleb from Florida and brother Joe from Oklahoma with them for a week. Daughter Debra who lives next door with her husband and son, Gus joined her sisters and brother for the celebration. Son Chip and new daughter-in-law Kris were married in Fairfax on Aug. 8th.
