It was all part of a PEC fundraiser to benefit its land conservation program in Rappahannock County. The movie was shot mostly in Fauquier County along Goose Creek and tells the story of an eighth generation Virginian, Nat Banks, who loses the family farm to a pair of speculators from Washington,^ DC. What happens next had moviegoers sitting on the edge of their seats. Shown here are Mark Joy, left, who played a realtor, Richard Squires, writer and director of the film, Chloe Squires, who played Nat's daughter (and in real life is Squires' daughter), and Rappahannock's own Howard Coon, who played a tenant farmer.
