The Fauquier County Department of Community Development is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Senior Planner This position is responsible for performing professional planning work in the areas of land development review, comprehensive planning, landscape architecture and zoning. Duties may include technical review for subdivision, special exceptions, rezoning, and comprehensive plan amendment applications; coordination with applicants, referral agencies, and elected officials; and completion of planning studies focused on comprehensive planning and growth management.
Qualified applicants should possess a Bachelors degree in urban planning, landscape architecture or related degree with proven professional related experience and strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent Benefits. Salary Range is $38,124.00-$45,750.00.
