(Rappahannock) went 2-for-3 with a clutch single in the seventh inning.

The Spitfire opposed Selvage again and prevailed, sending them to the championship against Zero Tolerance, composed of girls from William Monroe High, which eliminated Liberty High in the 2002 region playoffs.

Trailing 4-1, the Spitfire scored twice in the sixth to make it 4-3, then won it in the seventh. Tiffany Walker (Warren County) singled with one out and moved to second on a passed ball. Jamie Gallahan (Orange County) reached on a throwing error, as Walker took third. Walker scored on a groundout by Jamie Oliver (Orange County).

With two out, Gallahan came in when Ashley Ballantine (Warren County) grounded to second, and the ball was bobbled.
