Mary Beth Williams
The committee administering the Mary Beth Williams Memorial Fund has announced the recipients of its 2003 scholarships.
They are:
• Allyson M. Dodson, $1,500. Allyson will attend Virginia Polytechnic Institute next year.
• Jason Simeon, $1,000. Jason will attend James Madison University next year.
• Hallee Katherine Morgan, $1,000. Hallee will attend the University of Virginia next year.
The memorial fund established in Mary Beth Williams’ name has as its purpose the funding of scholarships for higher education and other activities for the youth of Rappahannock County.
Mary Beth Williams was killed in an automobile acci-. dent on Route 729 on May 14, 1997. She was interested in higher education and the fund was established as a memorial to her and her dreams.
