Ted Chapman hopes you will read this article and decide you, too, can spend some time every week helping the groups he volunteers with in Rappahannock County. It is the reason he agreed to be our volunteer spotlight this month.
Chapman volunteers with three programs in the county. For his many volunteer contributions over the years, Chapman was recognized June 5 with the RSVP Lifetime Achievement Award.
Two days a week, he spends his mornings picking up the hot meal for the Rappahannock Senior Nutrition Site at the main kitchen in Culpeper and delivering it to the Scrabble School site. Without dedicated, regular drivers like Chapman, the meal could not get to the Senior Center. This is Chapman’s fourth year of delivering the meals.
