Front Royal man
arrested for DUI,
possession
A Front Royal man allegedly caught speeding on Route 211 received more than he bargained for after a traffic stop on Saturday, June 20.
According to Sheriff Connie Smith, at 6:58 p.m., Sgt. Chuck Moore stopped Randy Keith Middleton, 41, of Front Royal, for speeding 68 miles per hour in a 55 mile-per-hour zone. Sgt. Moore also stated that Middleton was suspiciously crossing lanes.
Upon stopping the vehicle, Sgt. Moore smelled the odor of alcohol on the driver. He also found Middleton in possession of marijuana.
Middleton was then arrested and charged with driving under the influence, possession of marijuana, and speeding. Driver lands in creek
Tbnya Nicole Dyer, 18, of 177 Church Hill Road in Etlan, Va., was charged with failure to maintain control of a vehicle after an accident on Saturday, June 20.
According to Sheriff Connie Smith, Dyer was traveling on Slate Mills Road
