In an attempt to avoid hitting Timberlake, Trooper Fox struck the motorcycle and was transported to Page Memorial Hospital.
Meanwhile, Timberlake fled on foot and was apprehended by Trooper D A. Mauck. Timberlake was transported to the University of Virginia for his injuries.
Sheriff Connie Smith said that deputies in Rappahannock were stationed along Route 211 to apprehend the other two bikers, but were unsuccessful.
According to Sgt. Tyler the incident is currently being investigated by Sgt. Gene Baiun and charges are pending.
