Sandra Kaye Foster, 19, a sophomore at Longwood College, is participating in the work-study program sponsored by that college and the V.P.I. Extension Cooperative Extension Service. She will be working with youth in Rappahannock County and with low income groups here, under the supervision of Miss Judy Burtner, Extension Agent Home Economics in the county. Sandra is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Foster of Flint Hill.
Officers were installed at the regular meeting last Wednesday of the Rappahannock Lions Club with Lester Deal as president. Present for the installation ceremony was zone chairman Larry Kauffman and Jack Dahlgren, deputy district governor. Wayne Sophia was named secretary-treasurer of the club. Other officers elected were Edward Clark, vice president; O. C. Mitchell, Lion Tamer.
