The American Culinary Federation, a national organization of professional chefs, announced June 18 that The Inn at Little Washington is a 2009 Achievement of Excellence Award recipient.
A representative from the inn will receive the award at the organization’s 2009 National Convention in Orlando, Fla., July 11-14. At the convention, Inn chef and owner Patrick O’Connell will be the keynote speaker during the general session according to an official of the American Culinary Federation.

The Inn at Little Washington has had a number of visits from active duty military personnel before leaving for Iraq and Afghanistan or on their return home at the end of their tours there.
