vice for the Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community, the Warrenton chapter of the American Red Cross, the Extension Service, the American Heart Association, the Washington Fire Department, and the Rappahannock Women’s Club. These are only a few organizations she did volunteer work for. She did a lot of behind the scenes work in the community as well.
During the 1989-90 school year she also welcomed to her home a teenage boy from Spain for a year, supporting him in his school activities and attending all his games.
The celebration was attended by 50 family members, acquaintances and friends.
Food was prepared by Otis and Sheena Mosley from Culpeper.
Everyone dined on tossed salad, baked chicken, corn, green beans, macaroni and cheese and homemade yeast rolls while smooth jazz played in the background. Carrot and yellow cake were served for dessert. It was a meal one
