Both resident Diane Bruce and the Rappahannock News pressed council on the incremental cost to the town by adding these properties, but council was unable to provide specific cost figures.
There was a terse exchange between Sullivan and Bruce.
In terms of the incremental cost of adding properties to Phase I, Bruce remarked, "I would think you would want to know what it would cost before making a decision."
Said Bruce of the rezomng on grounds that it was rectifying a zoning problem: “In all this planning (for the sewer project) you couldn't figure this out?”
“What is the point of that question," retorted Sullivan.
Town Attorney John Bennett snapped back, “Why didn't you point it out, Diane, you were at all the meetings."
