The properties along Harris Hollow Road and Mount Salem Avenue will be rezoned from rural residential to village residential once the agreements are in place.
The effect of the rezoning will be to allow the Town Council to include each of the rezoned properties in Phase I of the sewer project - although members of the council and the Planning Commission were at pains to note the the rezoning was “good practice” on its own account and was not directly tied to adding these properties to Phase I.
