Gary Settle, 22. joined the Rappahannock County Sheriffs Department July 1 as a fulltime deputy. Settle is a native of Rappahannock, but grew up in Manassas , where his family lived until he was 12. Upon the family’s return to Sperryville, Settle attended Rappahannock public schools, and graduated from Rappahannock High.
