Council member Alice Butler had asked that her property on the edge of town be rezoned but the Planning Commission refused to recommend her application, and council decided to table it for now pending a proffer from Butler providing more details on her application.

Butler made it clear that she did intend to add another building and that had been her intent in seeking the rezoning.

Amendment

The council also unanimously approved an amendment to the sewer ordinance which changed the definition of an “existing user,” to include those with a building in town without a septic system (as of January 1, 2009)
