Children’s Garden Camp at Hearthstone School, Sperryville, Aug. 3-7, children ages 2 to 7 years old, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Cost is $150. Children will be divided into three groups according to age and skill level. Activities include movement/dance, drama, singing, musical instruments, fairytales and nature stories, cooperative games, watercolor painting, beeswax crayon drawing, sewing, knitting, weaving, pottery, organic gardening and cooking. Through all of these activities (age appropriate) children will be learning Spanish and brushing up on language arts, mathematics, geography, social studies and science in a creative and fun way.
