For Auto Licenses
Saturday, April 15, is the finaL date to get 1350 automobile and truck licenses.
A rush business is expected at the Courthouse by late comers, for only about 220 automobile and about 100 truck licenses had been obtained by yesterday afternoon.
Time can be saved if applications are signed before arriving at the Courthouse to purchase a license. There are two places to sign and each one is marked clearly with words “Sign Here.”

Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Reid received notice on Saturday that their son, Joseph B. Reid, who is a sophomore at the North Carolina State College, Raleigh, N. C., is a member of the Division Honor Roll for the winter quarter. Mr. Reid, who is majoring in forestry was on the dean’s list last year during his freshman year at the University of Virginia.
