Mr. and Mrs. Ennis Pullen and family of Luray, were dinner quests of Mr. and Mrs. Dudley PuHen on Sunday.

Rev. R. H. Scroggins returned home Monday, after having been a patient for the past week at the Front Royal Community Hospital where he underwent an operation.

Mr. and Mrs. Miller and Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Wake and their small son Chappy of Amburg, Va., spent the Easter holidays with Mrs. Wake’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Chapman.

The children from the Woodyille Baptist church enjoyed an faster egg hunt at the home of Miss Catherine Orange, under the leadership of Misses Lilly Johnson and Ruth Clark.

The Sunday School of the Flint Hill Baptist church held an Easter egg hunt at the church on Sunday morning.

Minor Lewis of Washington, D. C., was a week-end guest in the home of Mrs. Carroll Menefee.

Mr. and Mrs. Loring Anderson and family spent Easter at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Clark at Capon Bridge, West Virginia. On their' return home they visited at Whitacre, the home place of Mr. Anderson.

Mr. and Vr<=. P. W. Scud ere of Front Royal, were Sunday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Updike.

Mr. and Mrs. Dan S. Price and son Danny of Front Royal, wereSunday guests of Mrs. J. W. Price at “The Maples.”

Mrs. John D. Wood of Danville, is spending several weeks at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller,'while Mr. Wood is in the New England states on business.

Henry L. Miller returned home last week after having been a patient for several weeks at the Bethesda Naval Hospital at Bethesda, Maryland.

Mrs. F. D. Wood entertained at dinner at her home Tuesday, having as her guests Rev. and Mrs. M. E. Sliger, Rev. and Mrs. Norman J. Flythe, and Rev. and Mrs. Guy C. Heyl of Warrenton.

Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Miller and daughter, Evelyn Tyler Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Philip Triplett, and Capt.—William- Wiener were the dinner guests Tuesday of Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Elwin at Crest Hill.

Miss Elizabeth Owen spent the Easter holidays at the home of her parents at Alta Vista.

Mrs. Raymond Johnson spent the Easter holidays with relatives in Richmond.
