S. E. Hening of Sperryville left Sunday for Providence, R. I., where he will spend three weeks. He was accompanied to Baltimore, 3Td7i bv his daughter, Mrs. Ruth H. Engle, who returned to her home there.
Mr. and Mrs. James Brown and Mrs. John N'ethers attended the funeral services Wednesday for Miss Estelle'Dodson at Thornton's Gap and Brightwood.
